I've been going to The Bread of Life Temple. It is down the street from my house. I walk there it's so close.  In this Christian walk, you have to fellowship with other churches.  The topic of today's lesson was God Demands Repentance. This lesson and these study topics are from The Prayer and Bible Band Topics, a bible study publication provided by The Church of God in Christ.

The background reading from this topic is Matthew 3:1-12. These verses cover John the Baptist who was preaching in the wilderness for repentance of your sins. He stated that he baptizes with water but someone mightier than him (Jesus) will baptize with the Holy Spirit and with fire.

1  In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea,

2 And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

3 For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

4 And the same John had his raiment of camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey.

5 Then went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judaea, and all the region round about Jordan,

6 And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins.

There is no valley too deep for Jesus to reach. Call out to Him and he will comfort you. Believe in Him, and he will replenish you. Fall on your knees and worship Him, and He will lift you up. Listen to the words Kirk Franklin speaks in this song carefully. I believe we have to repent on a regular basis even if we are saved. Today's Bible Study was God Demands Repentance. This is so true. Pastor Sherman who taught the lesson said that if we were perfect we would not need good. And I know he means we need God / Jesus every day of our lives. I have been slow to act. I started this blog back in 2018 and I wish I would have worked hard on it every day since then. I ask Jesus to forgive me for not putting Him first and not doing what I was called to do, which is to create an online site where people can come together as Christians and uplift Christ.

Hello, My name is Brother Derrick W. Jackson and I am ecstatic and proud to show you my social media church / Online Church.  I am a new teacher of the word(Please note I have not been ordained nor do I have a minister's license but I have answered the call to spread the word) I am not new to the church and worshipping Jesus Christ.  I'm his human clay that he is molding every day, in other words I'm not perfect and have made a lot of mistakes that I do not want others to repeat. As the fires burn in California we pray for the victims.  Life shows us all the time that we are not always in control and bad things happen to good people.  A lot of times we scream out, "WHY GOD!!!!"  Several months ago I broke down on Labernum Avenue in Richmond, Virginia screaming, "He plays games with peoples lives!!"  God is not like man and remember he loves you unconditionally. And life does not turn out as we expect it but we know  "his will be done".
