Nothing can separate us from the love of God

For the past year I have been going to The Bread of Life Temple Church of God In Christ. It's down the street from where I live. I walk my dog in the neighborhood and one day Pastor Sherman Anderson stopped me, struck up a conversation, and invited me to visit his church. I have been going ever since. The Pastor has tasked me to read a scripture during each service. I got the following scriptures from Bible Gateway. Romans 8:35-39 - Who shall separaate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 - As it is written: "For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter." 37 - Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 - For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angles nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 - nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separ

Be Thankful For The Little Things

Image
Currently I am renting a room from a friend. In the past, I owned my own home in Duluth, Georgia. I'm reminded everyday to be thankful for the little things. First of all, I am alive to see another day. That's a big thing. Next just having a warm place and food to eat is another. I've been homeless in the past, and one time I went a week without eating.  Being able to hear, see, walk is another miracle. We take a lot for granted. In Matthew 6:9 Jesus taught us how to pray. A prayer of thanks everyday is necessary to let the Lord know that we appreciate what He has given what He has given us.

Can't Give Up Now by Mary Mary

I messed up. I stopped posting to this site because I felt I wasn't getting enough visitors. Last May 2023, I met the pastor of the church down the street from me. He invited me to come. It's a beautiful church but very few members. Less than 10. He hasn't quit. That church is his baby. I believe the future of churches is online. More and more people are tuning in online. We can't give up meeting in person though. We need to be in contact with each others to stay sane. Anyway have a great week guys.

Hello, It's been a while

Hello, it has been since July 2023 that I have posted to this site. Please forgive me, and I ask Jesus to forgive me as well. Although I am not an ordained minister I feel it is my duty like Christ said to witness and spread his word. I see that I have been getting a decent amount of visitors to this site. Again I'm sorry for not posting to this blog. I can't give up no matter what. So be on the lookout for more posts and bible study lessons.
