Look Forward

 I have made many mistakes in life. Because of it, I have dealt with severe depression. I had made career choices that  I regret.  I still struggle with those decisions. Jesus does not want us to be down and depressed and pouting. I would say he would want us to be thankful for what we have. To forgive ourselves like he forgives us. But after that, you have to work. Tell the devil, "You won't steal my joy."  Every day that you are alive is a gift from God. Cherish it, love it, and praise Jesus daily, not take it for granted.

I am not an ordained preacher. I just want to witness and do my duty as a Christian. When I reach my end will God say to me, "Well done thy good and faithful servant?"

There is no valley too deep for Jesus to reach. Call out to Him and he will comfort you. Believe in Him, and he will replenish you. Fall on your knees and worship Him, and He will lift you up. Hello, My name is Brother Derrick W. Jackson and I am ecstatic and proud to show you my social media church / Online Church.  I am a new teacher of the word(Please note I have not been ordained nor do I have a minister's license but I have answered the call to spread the word) I am not new to the church and worshipping Jesus Christ.  I'm his human clay that he is molding every day, in other words I'm not perfect and have made a lot of mistakes that I do not want others to repeat. As the fires burn in California we pray for the victims.  Life shows us all the time that we are not always in control and bad things happen to good people.  A lot of times we scream out, "WHY GOD!!!!"  Several months ago I broke down on Labernum Avenue in Richmond, Virginia screaming, "He plays games with peoples lives!!"  God is not like man and remember he loves you unconditionally. And life does not turn out as we expect it but we know  "his will be done".

Listen to the words Kirk Franklin speaks in this song carefully. I believe we have to repent on a regular basis even if we are saved. Today's Bible Study was God Demands Repentance. This is so true. Pastor Sherman who taught the lesson said that if we were perfect we would not need good. And I know he means we need God / Jesus every day of our lives. I have been slow to act. I started this blog back in 2018 and I wish I would have worked hard on it every day since then. I ask Jesus to forgive me for not putting Him first and not doing what I was called to do, which is to create an online site where people can come together as Christians and uplift Christ.
