My Calling

Today, I got up and visited The Good Shepard Baptist church which is right across the street from the townhouse where I am renting a room. Back in June i felt led to enter the ministry. I have since created this website The Promise Online Baptist Church. I did not intend to record the sermon but i did and it is a very good message the Rev. Dr. Nathaniel West delivered. In my goal to create an online Christian community i will include various ministers on my site. I went briefly to Union Cathedral Baptist Church in Valdosta, Georgia where Bishop Wade McCrae is the pastor. I want my "online church" to be under Bishop McCrae and I have reached out to them via email. Even if this doesn't happen i will record his daily sermons and post them on my site. I am very inspired right now and happy that God has blessed me to do this.

There is no valley too deep for Jesus to reach. Call out to Him and he will comfort you. Believe in Him, and he will replenish you. Fall on your knees and worship Him, and He will lift you up. In life we make mistakes. Some are worse than others. The key to getting past it is not to dwell on it. There's an old adage, "One day at a time." DON'T LISTEN TO THAT VOICE

 Whenever you try to do something positive, do you have a negative thought like "This is pointless, or nobody cares about this?" I want this blog and this community to be a success. I can't listen to that voice that the devil says it's pointless. I have no idea who is reading this. I could say something that will help someone. One person.  Of course, I'm not  Jesus, but he was walking with a crowd around him, and someone touched him and was healed. He did not know who it was but knew power had left him. This message isn't just for you, readers. This is for me. I have stopped and started this blog again and again. I MUST NOT STOP!!!. And there's another thing I need to recognize. This is not a popularity contest. If the stats are low, that should not deter me. I am going to a church now where the pastor, his wife, and I are the only ones regularly there.
